- Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed

- Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and transfer it to a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the almond meal and sugar.
- Sprinkle the almond mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
- Arrange the European cherries on top of the almond mixture.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the cherries to create a rustic tart.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry for a golden finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the cherries are bubbly.
